⁸ For ^(A)the word of the Lord has ^(B)sounded forth from you, not only in ^(C)Macedonia and ^(D)Achaia, but also ^(E)in every place your faith toward God has gone forth, so that we have no need to say anything. ⁹ For they themselves report about us what kind of a ^[a](F)reception we had ^[b]with you, and how you ^(G)turned to God ^(H)from ^[c]idols to serve ^[d](I)a living and true God, ¹⁰ and to ^(J)wait for His Son from ^[e]heaven, whom He ^(K)raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who ^(L)rescues us from ^(M)the wrath to come.
